Piece of Heart Locations
Again, in Majora’s Mask, I noted where I found all 52 heart Pieces. Pretty cool huh?
There are a total of 52 heart pieces in The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.
Like in Ocarina of Time, when you collect 4 heart pieces, you gain another heart on your health meter, so start looking!!!
Clock Town = 15 Heart Pieces!
South Clock Town
1)How can you not get this one? It is in plain sight in front of the entrance to the clock tower. Just use the deku flower and fly over to it!
2)After you get the postman’s hat, wear it and check one of the many mailboxes. You will have a big smile on your face!
West Clock Town
3) Use the Kamaro’s Mask and dance for the Rosa sisters.
4) Save up 5,000 rupees!!!
5) Choose the expert course in the sword training school and cut the 10 logs with jump attacks
6) Play the timing game with the postman at night and stop the timer at EXACTLY 10 seconds.(Use bunny hood to see the timer)
North Clock Town
7) Jump from ledge to ledge, to the slide to the tree to get this easy heart piece!
8) Win the Deku playground game 3 days in a row. (Difficult)
East Clock Town
9) Wear the All Night Mask and answer the question correctly after you listen to “Carnival of Time” from the Grandmother
10) Wear the All Night Mask and answer the question incorrectly after you listen to “Four Giants” from the Grandmother
11) Give a piece of paper to the hand in the toilet in the stock pot inn
12) Win the Treasure Box maze game as a Goron and watch your face light up!
13) Win the Honey & Darling game center on all 3 days
14) Hit ALL 50 Octorocks in the Town Shooting Gallery. (Very Hard)
15) Wear the Couples Mask and talk to the mayor of clock town.
Termina Field = 5 Heart Pieces!!!
16) There are 4 pits in Termina Field that have 4 gossip stones in each. Play a temple opening song as the form you have to use to get to the temple. (Example: Deku form, play Sonata of Awakening, Goron form, play goron lullaby...etc.) This can not be done as Human Link.
17) In the ice fields of Termina field, there is a pit near one of the frozen stone structures. Jump down and kill both dodongo’s to nab this heart piece!
18) In the southern parts of Termina Field, there is a pit in a grassy area. (You know were it is because there are butterflies flying over it) Jump down and kill the peahat to get a heart piece!
19) Use the Telescope to follow the deku flying from out of clock town to a pit. You MUST follow it or else you wont be able to get it. Go down the hole and he will sell it to you for 150 rupees. Say you don’t have the money and he will lower it to 100 rupees. That is as low as he will go though.
20) Near the fence to the Great Bay, there is a boulder. Kill the enemies and then destroy the beehive to the right on the wall. Then dive down as Zora Link to claim your prize!
Southern Swamp Areas + Woodfall = 7 Heart Pieces
21) Wear the Stone Mask and kill all of the Bad Bats. Then climb up the tree to see just what they were guarding!
22) Score a perfect in the Swamp Shooting gallery
23) Play Koume’s archery game and hit 20 targets
24) In woodfall, there is a chest with gold trim. You have to go all the way around, but its worth it!
25) Trade the Land Title deed to the deku and use the flower to reach on top of the tourist center!
26) In the deku palace, make a left. Then make your ways till you see a heart piece among the plants!
27) Take a picture of the Deku King, or Tingle to get a heart piece in the photo contest!

Mountain Village + Snowhead areas = 4 Heart Pieces
29) Trade the Swamp title deed for the deku’s mountain title deed and use the flower!
30) Unfreeze the area by beating the snowhead temple and dive into the water in the rope bridge area when it thaws out.
31) Gather all 5 frogs together in Mountain Village and talk to them once again with Don Gero’s Mask on. You will get a heart piece.
The Frogs are in these areas:
1) Mountain Village
2) Laundry Pool of Clock Town
3) Woodfall Temple after you defeat the gecko
4) Great Bay Temple after you defeat the gecko
5) Southern Swamp on a log.
32) You need the hookshot, the lens of truth and the scarecrows song for this one. In snowhead pass, you will notice block of ice floating in mid air with the lens of truth. Jump from ice block to ice block and when you reach the final one, Play the scarecrows song and hookshot to the heart piece!
Ikana Areas = 5 Heart Pieces
33) Kill the 4 poe sisters in under 3 minutes to get this heart piece in the ghost hut.
34) You need 16 hearts or more to get this one. Go to the secret shrine behind the waterfall and defeat all 4 old mini bosses. They should fall quite easily with your new arsenal and inventory!
35) Get to the Roof of the Ikana Castle and hit the switch. Then fly to the far pillar to get the Heart Piece.
36) Have the stalchilds open the grave on day 2. Make your way to the Iron Knuckle. Kill it to get a nice grin on your face!
37) Sell the Ocean Title deed to the deku for 200 rupees and fly over to the heart piece.
Romani Ranch = 1 Heart Piece
38) Win over 150 rupees in the doggy races. (Use the Mask of Truth to find the winning dog)
Great Bay Area = 10 Heart Pieces
39) In the Thief’s hideout, there is a cage with a heart piece in it. Hit the switch and run behind the gate!
40) You need a magic bean and the scarecrows song to get this heart Piece in a small alcove in the southern part of the Great bay. (You also need the hookshot)
41) Get a photograph of one of the Female guards and show it to the fisherman. He will give you a seahorse. Kill all of the Deep Pythons at pinnacle rock and reunite the seahorse lovers to get a heart piece.
42) Beat the Great Bay temple and score 20 on the jumping game.
43) Use the Captain’s Hat to find out the code for the ocean-side spider house by talking to the stalchildren in the house. Fire arrows at the colors in the order they tell you to get the heart piece!
44) Go into Mikau’s room and learn the end parts for the Jam Session. Then play the full song for Evan (The piano player) he will give you a heart piece.
45) Feed 5 fish to the large fish in the ocean-side laboratory. You get a...enough said?
46) As a goron, trade the mountain title deed for the deku in Lulu’s room. Then use deku link to fly to the heart piece.
47) Beat both beavers again when the time limit is 1:50. You get a....wooo-hooo!!
48) Drop all the way down in the waterfall and kill the Like Like to get a heart Piece!
Inside of the Moon Mini-Dungeons = 4 Heart Pieces
Deku Link's Dungeon
49) Use the yellow deku flower on the second of the two rotating platforms to reach the heart piece.
Goron Link's Dungeon
50) Do a rolling jump off of the central platform and then line yourself up for the big straight-away. Bounce off the open chests and onto the heart piece platform!!
Zora Link's Dungeon
51) In the tunnels, head Left, Left, Right, Left to reach the heart piece.
Normal Link's Dungeon
52) Use your bombchus wisely to blow open the cracked walls on the wall and the ceiling. Get through the rooms and your reward is a heart piece!
