Link: The main character of this epic, the land of hyrule depends on his efforts to thwart the evil Ganondorf from destroying the land, and ruling over all! The Hero of Time, as he is referred to in his adulthood!
Zelda: Zelda is the princess of Hyrule. Her ability to dream legends is perhaps her one weakness, despite this awesome power. Zelda is intent on keeping the Ocarina of Time from Ganondorf’s hands to protect the sacred realm.
Ganondorf: Ganondorf is the leader of the Gerudo. The only male in 100 years. Born into royalty, Ganondorf isn’t perhaps the most generous king in the land. He is determined to steal the triforce and rule over all of hyrule!
Saria: Saria is Link’s best friend from even early childhood. She turns out to be the sage of the forest and grants Link her power after Link becomes the Hero of Time!
Darunia: Darunia is looked up to by the rest of the Goron race as “big brother.” A severe depression has overrun him due to Ganondorf’s evil working. A grumpy attitude hides a kind person who will be willing to do anything for someone else. He turns out to be the sage of fire and grants his power to Link after he becomes the Hero of Time!
Ruto: Ruto is the princess of the Zora race, half-human, half-fish. Ruto is disgusted at Link at their first appearance, but time flows like a river, and Ruto, after giving the spiritual stone of water to Link, says that the stone is the Zora engagement present! Odd indeed! She turns out to be the sage of water and grants him her power after Link becomes the Hero of Time!
Impa: Princess Zelda’s caretaker and most trusted advisor, Impa is a kind person lurking and she teaches Link his first ocarina song...”Zelda’s Lullaby” She turns out to be the sage of shadows and grants him her power after Link becomes the Hero of Time!
Nabooru: The only Gerudo that dislikes Ganondorf’s intentions. She is alone in this fight for justice, until Link comes along as a child. She needs help, and is taken hostage for 7 years by 2 old witches. When Link returns as an adult, and the Hero of Time, he destroys the witches, therefore granting Nabooru the ability to become the sage of sprits. She adds her power to Links!
Talon: The owner of Lon Lon ranch, the only ranch in all of Hyrule. Talon is fat, tubby, but with a heart of gold. (Oh, did I mention very, very, very lazy?)
Malon: Talon’s daughter. She is very fond of the horses at Lon Lon ranch, but has shown an extraordinary liking to Epona, Link’s future horse!
Ingo: The right hand man at Lon Lon ranch, he is grumpy, mean and in the future...the owner of Lon Lon ranch due to kicking Talon out!! Link puts a stop to Ingo in the future by racing him twice and winning Epona as a prize!
