(Note: Each item will have a number of *’s after it. This indicates the usefulness of the item. 1* means that the item isnt really useful, while 5*’s mean it is a great weapon and it should be kept on one of the “C” buttons at all times)
Link’s mighty arsenal of weapons, gadgets, and even those hardly used, just about useless weapons!
Deku Stick: This is a light, and somewhat brittle stick from the Great Deku Tree. Link could swing it like a sword, but the stick wold break after it hit something. Link used this more often as a torch. (Child Link) HH Link's Rating = * * Raistlyn's Rating = * * *
Boomerang: The boomerang is a very useful weapon, having range, and able to collect out of reach items is a big plus for this. It is a great asset! (Child Link) HH Link's Rating = * * * * Raistlyn's Rating = * * * * *
Ocarina: Ok, we all know that this is a real plus. It can warp you out of a place if you feel bored, or if you are low on health. It can open up events, gain you entrance to areas so yes, it is a very nice addition to your collection. (Child, or Adult Link) HH Link's Rating = * * * * * Raistlyn's Rating = * * * * *
Fairy Slingshot: This is a nice weapon. Not only does it have range, but its shots are as strong as a normal swipe with the Kokiri sword! A really good addition to Links arsenal! (Child Link) HH Link's Rating = * * * * * Raistlyn's Rating = * * * * *
Bomb: This is an OK weapon. Sacrificing range for....sheer power, this is only really good for clearing a path, and opening up things you cant normally. Not really a “used all the time” weapon. (Child or Adult) HH Link's Rating = * * * * Raistlyn's Rating = * * * *
Lens of Truth: This is NICE....in a way. The areas where you use this are limited, so this wont be getting a lot of play time. This allows Link to see through some walls that create optical illusions. (Child or Adult Link) HH Link's Rating = * * Raistlyn's Rating = * * *
Deku Nut: Think of this as a natural stun grenade, but with cooler effects. Good at stopping enemies right in thier tracks, because of it's stunning power. (Child or Adult Link) HH Link's Rating = * * * * Raistlyn's Rating = * *
Magic Bean: After you plant these as a child, Adult link can ride giant leaves to take him to normally inaccessable areas. (Child Link) There are only 10 of these, but use them all right away! HH Link's Rating = * * * Raistlyn's Rating = * * * *
Bombchu: This is a running bomb that moves in a crude straight line but can wander off a path at anytime. This you NEED to use only once in the entire game which makes it the worst of the worst. Hookshot: This is a useful weapon. Not only can it be used to get out of reach skulltula tokens, but you can latch onto certain objects and reach new areas! Also a good weapon. (Adult Link) HH Link's Rating = * * * * * Raistlyn's Rating = * * * * *
Longshot: Picture the Hookshot, only this one extends twice as far!! (Adult Link) HH Link's Rating = * * * * *

Fairy Bow: This is Adult Link’s long range weapon. Strong, and has excellent range, perhaps the only downfall to this is that it takes arrows, and if you cant find them, they are expensive. Still an excellent weapon! (Adult Link) HH Link's Rating = * * * * * Raistlyn's Rating = * * * * * (P.S., this bow can use magic arrows....see below!)
Fire Arrows (MP2) This type of arrow will burn whatever it touches to a crisp. They do require magic though. HH Link's Rating = * * * *
Ice Arrows (MP2) In my mind, this is the best arrow, it will freeze anything it hits into a block of ice and then cause some extra damage due to the ice! They do require magic though. HH Link's Rating = * * *
Light Arrows (MP4) These are used to defeat Ganondorf. They are also good for collecting money, creating a nice Purple Ruppee after you kill an enemy with these!! These require magic also. HH Link's Rating = * * * *
Megaton Hammer: Think a sledgehammer! Think of all the stuff you could do with this!! (Adult Link) HH Link's Rating = * * * * * Raistlyn's Rating = * * * *
Magic Spells: Din’s Fire (MP6) Farore’s Wind (MP6) Nayru’s Love (MP12)
Above is the list of magic. These are useful in certain situations.
Din’s Fire will create a dome (sphere) of fire that will engulf anything it touches! HH Link's Rating = * * * *
Farore’s Wind will only work in dungeons which contain a map, but this creates a special warp from one area to another so if you must backtrack, you can...quickly! HH Link's Rating = * *
Naryu’s love is the most valuable magic spell in the game. It will make Link totally Invincible for roughly 3 minutes!! This is VERY magic consuming so beware!HH Link's Rating = * * * * *
Bottles: These can carry useful things...there are a total of 4 bottles in all of hyrule. HH Link's Rating = * * * * Equipment Carrying
Deku Seed Bag: Carries your deku seeds for your slingshot...bags can hold 30,40,or 50!
Quiver: The Quiver carries arrows for your bow...quivers can hold 30,40,or 50
Bomb Bag: The bomb bag holds your bombs...bags can hold 20,30,or 40 Special inhancements
Goron Bracelet: Allows Link to lift the heavy bomb flowers HH Link's Rating = * * *
Silver Gauntlets: Allows Link to lift heavy boulders HH Link's Rating = * * * *
Golden Gauntlets: Enables Link to lift huge....mountain like objects! HH Link's Rating = * * * * *
Silver Scale: Allows Link to dive up to 6 meters, instead of 3! HH Link's Rating = * * *
Golden Scale: Allows Link to dive up to 8 meters instead of 6 or 3! HH Link's Rating = * * * * Swords
Kokiri Sword: The Child’s sword. Almost dagger like, it is suitable for only a child and is weak.
Master Sword: The Adult’s sword. Twice as strong as the Kokiri sword of Link’s youth, it is a nice, fine (oh, and legendary) blade.
Giant’s Knife: Twice as strong as the Master sword, but needs to be held with both hands, this weapon is VERY fragile, and will break after exactly 6 attacks! It isn’t a good weapon.
Biggoron’s Sword: This is twice as strong as the Master sword, and unlike the Giant’s Knife, it will not break, no matter what you do to it! However, it requires Link to use both hands, and while using it, you cannot use your shield....crap huh? Shields
Deku Shield: Wooden, small, crap. Child’s toy if even that. It will burn if flames touch it, and isn’t defensive. It will repel physical projectiles, but only minor ones at that.
Hylian Shield: The standard shield, will not burn due to it being made out of iron. Will repel physical projectiles.
Mirror Shield: Adult use only! This can repel magical attacks, but will not repel physical projectiles. Sturdy and trustworthy...this is the best shield in the game! Boots
Kokiri Boots: One size fits all, these are the standard boots. Good traction and speed make this the all around good boot!
Iron Boots: These will allow you to run at a good pace underwater, but very slowly on land. They will make you sink, due to the weight!
Hover Boots: The opposite of the Iron Boots, these will allow you to run over water, nothing, or above lower ground for a short period of time. The downside....no traction!
